Disruptive Pharma is seeking collaborations with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies with drug candidates or existing products where Formulite® can create meaningful development, clinical or commercial value.
We are particularly interested in opportunities involving:
- Poorly soluble and formulation challenged small molecule drug compounds where solubility, dissolution, oral bioavailability or formulation complexity limits development or product performance
- Clinical-stage assets where an improved formulation could enhance drug performance, patient convenience or product differentiation
- Reformulation and lifecycle management opportunities for existing pharmaceutical products
- Opportunities to increase drug loading and enable smaller, simpler and more convenient oral dosage forms, particularly where conventional formulation approaches are complex, unsuccessful or result in an unattractive product profile
From feasibility to long-term partnership
We work with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to explore where Formulite® can add value to individual drug development programs and product opportunities.
A collaboration typically starts with a focused feasibility study using the partner’s API to evaluate whether Formulite® can provide a meaningful formulation advantage. Successful programs can progress into formulation and drug product development, stability and preclinical studies, clinical development, scale-up and ultimately licensing and commercialization.
For selected programs, Disruptive Pharma seeks longer-term development and licensing agreements in which Formulite® becomes an integral part of the partner’s pharmaceutical product. Commercial structures may include development fees, upfront and milestone payments and royalties or other commercial revenue-sharing arrangements.
In parallel, Disruptive Pharma is seeking selected strategic development and manufacturing partnerships to establish an integrated pathway from early formulation development through clinical development, scale-up and commercial manufacturing.
